What does Erasr actually do?
Erasr is an all-in-one money assistant for Canadians. E' — the assistant — finds your recurring charges, helps you cancel what you don't want, tracks your spending and budgets, watches your bills calendar, and answers plain-language questions about any of it. E' shows you your own numbers and helps you think things through. It never tells you what to do with your money — that's your call.
How does Erasr connect to my email?
You choose. Connect Gmail or Outlook with one tap and E' reads only the billing emails — nothing else — with a read-only connection you can switch off any time. (iCloud and Yahoo connect are coming soon.) Prefer not to connect at all? Upload a statement instead and skip it entirely.
Is my data sold or shared?
No. Your data stays in Canada, is never sold, and you can delete your account — and all the email data tied to it — in one tap from the dashboard.

Built in Whitehorse, data in Toronto, prices and totals in CAD, and tuned for services Canadians actually use (Rogers, Bell, Crave, GoodLife, and so on). We know how hard each one is to cancel and walk you through it — built for Canada, not adapted from the US.
What happens when I cancel a subscription through Erasr?
We open the vendor's cancel page (or write you a ready-to-send email if there's no online option) and check in 48 hours later to see if it worked. It gets better every time someone tells us how their cancellation went.
How good is E' at finding my charges?
E' is very good at spotting your recurring charges, and usually gets the name and amount right too. If it ever gets one wrong, you can fix it in one tap — and it learns from that.
